For anyone with plans to visit Amsterdam for a few days, I highly recommend the Go City Pass. I got the 2 day pass for myself and my kids. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour; however, a day was more than enough to earn great value for my money.

The Amsterdam Pass will give you entrance to two of Amsterdam's most famous museums: The Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. It lets you make use of the train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station and a cruise down the UNESCO World Heritage-listed canal ring.
Rijksmuseum has many galleries, which showcase individual aspects of Dutch art and history. You need at least 4 to 5 hours, depending on the number of galleries you visit inside the museum. Try reaching early in the day to have more time to explore the artworks and artifacts.
How much do Dutch public toilets cost? Typically, such places charge €0.50, which you are expected to pay to the toiletjuffrouw before using the facilities. Sometimes, the fees are higher. (I've only seen up to a €0.50 charge, but have heard of places that actually expect you to pay a €1 entry fee.)

The Validity of the I Amsterdam City Card
The card is valid for one person and can be purchased locally at various points of sale or at a discounted price from us online.
If you fancy crafting a jam-packed Amsterdam itinerary, this card could save you a lot of money. With many attractions priced over €20 or more, you'll generally get your money's worth if you hit up three attractions per day. However, you could easily do more if you wake up early and plan your time well.
For residents/expats and frequent visitors we would probably recommend the Museumkaart as it is valid for the whole year. For others (especially first-time visitors) we would certainly recommend the I amsterdam City Card. Let's consider the best value 120 hour (5 day) card which costs €125 (€25 per day).
Does the I Amsterdam card include airport train?
Although a public transport pass is included, the connection between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Station is not included. To cover this journey you will have to buy a separate ticket for the NS train or the Airport Express bus.
The I amsterdam City Card is your cultural key to the city, with just about every noteworthy Amsterdam attraction included. The only big museum not included in the I amsterdam City Card is the Van Gogh Museum – not a problem with this bundle ticket!

Boasting a whole range of transport opportunities, Amsterdam can take you where you need to go via a boat, bike, train, tram or bus. The cheapest way to travel around Amsterdam is walking but if you need to get somewhere fast, the use of an OV chip card is the answer.
