Peter Parker also known as Spider-Man or Ultimate Spider-Man is the overarching protagonist of Sony Pictures Animation's Spider-Verse trilogy, serving as the overarching protagonist of the 2018 animated superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and a posthumous character in its 2023 sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
After protecting New York for a decade, Peter was tragically killed by Kingpin while attempting to stop the Super-Collider, but was succeeded by Miles Morales.
He was voiced by Chris Pine, who also voiced Jack Frost in Rise of the Guardians.

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- After losing Uncle Ben, Peter became a responsible super-hero known as Spider-Man, protecting New York for ten years against various super-villains.
- Along with Aunt May's help, Peter constructed a secret hideout so that he could help New York whenever it was threatened.
- After realizing that Kingpin is willing to destroy New York (and potentially the multiverse) just to get his family back, Peter decided to destroy it.
- After Miles Morales accidentally intervened in the site, Peter saved him from falling to his death and hid him from getting spotted by Kingpin and his forces.
- When realizing he and Miles share the same abilities, Peter sympathized with the boy, understanding how conflicted he feels, and immediately offered to take him under his wing.
- After being injured in the ensuing fight, he gave Miles a virus designed to destroy the Super-Collider, ultimately leading to him using it and saving the multiverse by the end of the movie.
- He tried to talk Kingpin down from destroying the multiverse and tried to reason with him, only to be brutally rejected by the latter murdering him.
- His death has posthumously inspired the people of New York to be the best of themselves, Miles especially.
- Although not delved into that much onscreen, it's obvious that he was an incredibly good husband and nephew to Mary-Jane and Aunt May respectively.
- Despite the Spider-Verse trilogy's high admirable standards, Peter stands out for his many years of crime fighting across New York alone, being the first person to try to stop Kingpin from endangering the Multiverse, and being a huge influence to Miles and many others, as well as being the reason Miles would eventually destroy the Super-Collider. Furthermore, he has much less screen time than the other characters and lacks the multiversal technology they have.

- Ultimate Spider-Man, along with Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy are the only Spider-Verse Pure Goods.
- Although currently Pure Good, this might change once Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is out depending on how the in-story standards change.
- His voice actor, Chris Pine, had also voiced King Magnifico, who is a Pure Evil villain.
