When will my transfer be processed?

Bank to bank transfers must be made between your HSBC account and a like titled account at another financial institution within the United States.

Transfers will be processed as follows:

Date of request Date transfer will be made
On a non-business day The transfer will be processed the next business day after it's requested. However, it may take up to 3 business days to post.
On a business day - before 1am Eastern time Same day. However, it may take up to 3 business days to post.
On a business day - after 1am Eastern time The transfer will be processed the next business day after it's requested. However, it may take up to 3 business days to post.
