Learning about all of the stats and traits in a game can be difficult because of the information overload. Also, you might not have the resources or time to see the best combinations of stats.

In A Universal Time, there are a lot of traits in the game that can give you all sorts of bonuses. Of course, they’re tiered and there are better ones with higher rarity. If you want to maximize these traits you should know where to use them!

In this guide, we’ll show you all of the traits in the game and what they do. We’ll also show you the best combinations of abilities and stands that you can use for these traits. Now, let’s see what we can play with!

Best Traits Guide & Best Stand To Use It

There are a ton of different traits that you can roll in A Universal Time and most of them are great with certain builds and abilities. Testing out all of them can take a lot of time and resources but you don’t have to do that. Here are all the traits and the best ways to use them with different stands and abilities!

Regular Traits

  • Attack Traits (Strong, Powerful, Buff, Prime) – These traits increase your damage by a percentage. It can be used with any ability or stand and is great for PVP and PVE.
  • Speed Traits (Swift, Speedy, Sonic) – These traits increase your movement speed and attack speed for the last two. These traits are usually used for faster travel time.
  • Critical Rate Traits (Fortunate, Lucky, Favored, Gambler) – These traits increase your critical change by a percentage. Any ability or stand can be great for these, especially in PVP.
  • Healing Traits (Kind, Empathetic, Protector) – These traits increase your healing so it’s great for any healing abilities. These traits can be great for both group PVP and PVE.
  • Cooldown Traits (Hasty, Productive, Workhorse, Overflowing) – These traits give you faster cooldowns. It affects every ability and is best for PVP.
  • HP Traits (Healthy, Tanky) – These traits increase your base health by a percentage. Anyone can use this if they need more HP for their builds and is great for PVP.
  • Damage-over-time Traits (Sickly, Poisonous, Toxic, Deferred) – These traits will make damage be applied over time but increase overall damage. This is great for both PVP and PVE and can work with any ability or stand.
  • True Damage Traits (Sharp, Piercing, Lethal) – These traits convert some of your damage to true damage. It can be used with any build and is great for PVP to bypass resistances.
  • Meter Buff Traits (Arcane or Enchanted) – These two traits increase the meter gain for certain abilities, so it only works for those. This trait is great for PVP.
  • Defense Buff Traits (Fortified, Resistant, Armored, Prime) – These traits increase your damage resistance while Prime adds damage as well. This is great for any build and is good for PVP.
  • Reduce Knockback Traits (Pillowy or Spicy) – These traits reduce the knock-back dealt and are amazing for PVP. Abilities like The Strongest can work well with this trait.
  • Vigilant – This trait doubles your Recovery Healing, which is the health you get back when you hit an enemy. It’s a great way to add more survivability in PVP and works with any ability.
  • Bypassing – This trait will make your attacks bypass Ragdoll but Ragdolled attacks apply only 50% Stun. It also has a 15-second cooldown and is only viable in PVP. Abilities like The Strongest or The Hand work well with this one.
  • Bombastic – This trait will give you a 10% chance to create explosions when you attack. It’s an amazing trait for any ability that has barrage moves and is good for PVP.
  • Assassin – With this trait the higher the enemy’s health the greater your damage is, it works great in PVP and can be used by anyone.
  • Steadfast – With this trait blocked attacks always deal 0 damage and you get a 25% chance of guard breaks being negated. It’s a great defensive trait that works well in PVP and with any build.
  • Menacing – This trait lets you recover HP when you pose. It’s only ever useful in PVE.
  • Flaming – With this trait your attacks have a 50% chance to inflict flames on your enemy. A great trait to have in PVP.
  • Vital – With this trait you gain passive flat healing scaled to your meter. It’s usable by any build and is good for PVP.

Unique Traits

  • Solar – +30% Faster Movement Speed, +15% move/sequence speed. Perfect Block window doubled. A great trait for traveling and PVP and will do well with abilities like The Hand, The Strongest, or Made In Heaven.
  • Cursed – With this trait the lower your current health the greater your damage is.
  • This is another great trait for PVP and combines well with abilities like The World: High Voltage.
  • Vampiric – With this ability you get a 10% passive life steal. This is one of the best traits to use in Boundless Tower and while using The Strongest you can be extremely powerful.
  • Gluttonous – This trait gives a lot of bonuses depending on your meter. It lowers meter cost and increases its regen. Not only that but you get a damage and resistance buff the higher your meter is. It’s great for PVP and with abilities like The Hand or The Strongest.
  • Voided – With this trait attacks will have a 15% chance of spawning a black hole that will lock the enemy’s position. This trait is great for PVP and fits well with stands like Gold Experience or Killer Queen.
  • True – With this trait you deal an additional 25% True damage. This works for any build and is one of the best traits for PVP.
  • Cultivation – This trait lets you gain random stats every minute as long as you’re alive. It resets when you die and is great for PVP or Grinding with any build.
  • Economic – This trait gives you Ucoins each time you deal damage and is mainly used to farm currency.
  • Angelic – With this trait your healing is increased by a whopping 80% and when you pose you heal nearby players. This is great for all Hamons and is often used for Boundless Tower runs.

Hexed Traits

  • Overconfident Prime – Prime will now be an enabled state that you turn on and off every 10 seconds. The bonuses are increased but when it’s off you get debuffs. It’s great for any build and is good for PVP and grinding.
  • Icarus Solar – With this trait you’ll be slower when too far from another player. If you are close to a player you’ll get 40% faster movement speed and 25% faster move/sequence speed. You’ll also get a bigger perfect block window, perfect for any ability or stand in PVP.
  • Undying Cursed – This trait will have your max health reduced by 50% but your attack will be doubled. This is great for Grinding and PVP with stands like The World: High Voltage and The Strongest.
  • Ancient Vampiric – This trait will reduce your max health by 10% with a 5% life steal. The bonus is that 20% of damage taken is considered healing and thus it’s a great tank trait for any build in PVP. It’s also great for Boundless Tower!
  • Festering Gluttonous – Bigger bonuses than the normal trait but you become exhausted every 25 seconds for 5 seconds. In this state, you’ll have 10% ATK and DEF. It pairs well with abilities and stands like normal Gluttonous and is good in PVP, but the debuff can be a bit annoying.
  • Abyssal Voided – This trait is just like the normal one but with a higher chance of spawning black holes. The catch is that it also has a chance of damaging yourself! It’s still a great trait for PVP.
  • Idle Death Gambler – You get increased Critical damage and Critical Chance based on your meter. All meter moves will now use all the meter while critical hits will refill it to the max. When you deal a critical there’s a 10% chance of buffing your enemies. Best with stands like The World, Made In Heaven or The Strongest.
  • Torrential Overflowing – You have a 50/50 chance of either having 30% faster moves or longer cooldowns. Not really a great trait so make sure to reroll if you get this one.
  • Fractured Deferred – You do damage over time and each tick has a 10% chance to deal critical damage. While Deferred you’re slowed down and there is a 10% chance of it backfiring to you. It’s great for any build and is good in PVP.
  • Vitriolic True – You get a whopping +40% bonus for true damage but there is a 10% chance of the damage being inflicted on you. It works great with any ability or stand that has a high-damage combo in PVP.
  • Soul Reaping – Same as the normal trait but now the maximum for each stat is 250. It’s one of the best traits in the game and can be used in any build and any situation!
  • Greedy – You gain 2x more Ucoins than economic but you lose them when you get damaged up to 200 per hit! It’s still a great way to farm currency and can be used by any build.
  • Fallen Angelic – This trait boosts your healing by 120% but now your attack is lowered by 30%. You also can no longer heal yourself. This is still a great healing trait for Hamons and that massive healing buff is nothing to scoff at in any situation.

Mythic Traits

  • Godly – +50% Damage and +35% damage resistance as well as Finisher Rush Attacks now give random status effects. The top choice in PVP and is great for a lot of stands and abilities like Gold Experience, Sol, Mero Devil Fruit, and more.
  • Temporal – With this trait you can drain your meter to slow people’s movements, it slows down walk speed, move sequence, and even cooldowns. It’s great for Chrono, Hamons, or Dawn in PVP to avoid combos.
  • Spiritual – This trait will use your meter to teleport to the nearest player when doing a rush attack. It also lowers meter costs and increases its regeneration. Not only that but it also buffs your damage and resistance depending on your meter. It’s great for PVP with The Strongest or Made In Heaven.
  • Ryoiki – When you have 50+ HT you get resistances to debuff as well as hyperarmor. Every 10 seconds you get an attack that always bypasses the enemy’s defenses. It’s an amazing trait for PVP with any ability or stand that doesn’t waste much HT.
  • Reversed Cursed Technique – With this trait your health pool is lowered by 20% but you get passive healing scaling on your meter. It will always drain your meter and you don’t gain meter when you’re damaged. This is great for Hamons or Dawn in PVP or PVE.

Hexed Mythic Traits

  • Egotistic Godly – You now gain +80% Damage and +50% damage resistance but every 10 seconds you switch to an exhausted state. When exhausted you get -15% damage and resistance, it’s still one of the best traits for PVP with the same builds for Godly.
  • FTL Temporal – This trait now gives you buffs while you debuff the enemies around you. Every 20 seconds you get the same debuffs and you can’t give it to enemies for 10 seconds. It’s great with the same suggestions for normal Temporal and is good for PVP.
  • Psychotic Spiritual – Along with the normal trait you also can turn insane giving high damage buffs as well as defense debuffs, or damage debuffs depending on your meter. Your controls will sometimes be inverted as well. It’s still great for grinding with The Strongest or Made in Heaven.
  • Heavenly Restricted Ryoiki – The resistance to debuff and hyperarmor is now constant but you can no longer gain meter. It’s great for abilities and stands that don’t use HT and is amazing in PVP.
  • Automatic Reversed Cursed Technique – You get -40% to your health pool but you get a massive passive healing while it drains your meter. Again, it’s still great with Hamon or Dawn in PVP.
