For anyone whose wondering, its an American non-billingual version so YMMV if Futureshop accepts it as the SKU in their system is for billingual.
FSTIV = 22.80
EBTIV = 10I decided to keep the code and trade it into FS.

The code from my game isn't working on the web page with xbox360 selected =(. It indicates the code isn't found. I guess I'll have to contact support. Anyone else who has tried to import the songs to RB2 have the same problem?

You will need it for the original import for sure, tested that this morning. It looks like the data downloads rather than ripping from the dvd, a la RB1 though. In turn, you should be able to queue it anytime through xbox.com.

Also went to Scarborough Town Center this morning, the man handing out the wristbands told me they had 70 for each console which was quite a fair amount. Also, I was surprised to see so many items on sale. Ended up getting quite a haul. Pretty nice way to start the weekend.

Anyone else running into this problem? I was about to use the code too, but may hold off for a bit to see if this is a common issue.

but i'm not sure if it's worth it though...coz almost half of the songs from lego rockband already exist in my world tour list...

I just called tech support. He knew about the issue and had me clear my cache, cookies, disable pop-up blocker, etc. but this didn't solve the problem. Based on what he was having me do though I just fired up my mac laptop and used Safari instead of IE. Worked with no problems.

Congrats to all of those that got one and it looks like to be the full version!
Any chance the Christmas Stockings were on sale for $2? It's a Saturday only promo but maybe in the US only.

We just missed it as the lady infront of us got the last PS3 They had roughly ~25 in total for Kingston for all plateforms (~8 games per console system) which sorta sucked. The Xbox's went out of stock first then the wii and after that folks grabbed PS3's without even having a PS3. I guess when something is free they'll take it regardless if you need it or not. The 5 ladies in front of us all got the last PS3's when they didn't have the system. At times I wish folks were less greedy though. I guess I'll look on kijiji now to see if there's ad's for cheap PS3 lego rock bands!

I saw a group of guys in front of me get their game and then walk over to EB on the other side of the mall to trade it in. The store near my place still had the trade in 3 for COD:MW2, and with the futureshop sale on games with TIV's over $8 I guess that was the plan.
It trades for $10 if anyone was curious.

Didn't take long to find a posting on Craigslist. Only 18 minutes after opening I think.

I'm pretty sure I know exactly who in line is selling these. People who brought their entire family of course. I was ninth in line and i think the wii was already gone by then. Wasn't many wiis at all, the ps3 were the least popular at the Langley store.

Got to Richmond Centre Old Navy at 9:20AM before opening. All gone, everyone got their wrist bands already. I do wanna give Old Navy kudos for using a wrist band system as opposed to BB/FS and their customer stampede/Boxing Day policy.

Had a fun time this morning. Seeing that any of the mall locations in the GTA would be chaos at best, I decided on one of two locations - Sherway/Etobico*ke and Scarborough/Eglinton Town Centre.
When I called both last night, both locations were helpful as to the rough quantity on hand. Etobico*ke has 25 total and Eglinton Town Centre had about 50. This was a no-brainer.
Got there around 6:15, there were about 20 people ahead of me and a friend. Wristbands handed out at 6:45 with people who had just shown up getting wristbands still. It looked as though people who showed up to line up all got one. Spent $75 on some $20 jeans, the $10 thermal shirts and $7 fleecy sweaters with a $10 coupon from the flyer. My friend dropped $90 on Xmas gifts. Thanks to the OP for the headsup.
For those who missed out, call and ask - if you ask nicely, most places will tell give you an estimate.

I was at the guildford location as well. When i got there around 910 there was about 50 people in line. there were 76 games in total availble according to a cashier. I picked up some items worth $35 bucks and was going to leave when i saw some kids playing rockband. One of the staff saw me looking at the display and she mentioned they still had a few games left. I asked if they had the guitar still, she checked and lucky for me they had one PS3 version left, so I picked up the ps3 game. Damage $51 for Rockband 2 game and guitar, Lego wii game (free), $35 in clothing. Was also able to use $10 off for spending over $50. Thanks to op and everyone who posted the helpful info.

I was at Rideau (Ottawa) this morning; showed up about 6:55, there was maybe only 10 people in line and they had tons of the wrist bands. And not everyone in line even came for the game, some people lined up simply to get first crack at the sales. Clerk: "Would you like Wii, PS3 or 360?" Customer: "I don't want to buy a movie."
