Celebrities are ordinary people who have managed to do memorable things.
But they are ordinary people.

This means that their needs, fears, and cravings are very similar to those of us, simple mortals.

What changes is the harassment. And in this regard, gender matters.

In general, those who “become famous” end up being much more sought. I was never famous — I’m a television actor here in Brazil — but I had some moments when I was in evidence. I can say that, yes, it gets much easier to date. WELL easier. But what is the fun of going out with someone who wants to date you JUST BECAUSE you “are in evidence”? I know that a lot of people (mainly men) would say “screw it.” And, yes, I went out with some girls that fit this definition just for the physical pleasure of it.

But it doesn’t have the same appeal as a date with someone attracted by me as a man.

Now, as I said, I was never famous; I had brilliance moments. In the case of people who are recognized wherever they go, things are different.

Actors in general — mainly heartthrobs — are very harassed. From what I realized, they have already passed the stage of wanting to feel challenged in the conquest. So it’s prevalent for fans to have sex with actors for… Nothing. For example, I’ve heard of cases of a fan who was waiting for a specific moment to some actor leave the TV studios, chase his car, headlighted him, ask to talk, and went to a hotel. So easy. Since man’s nature is usually more open to this type of relationship, the equation closes quickly. It is a fun night for both, and a good story for fans to tell their friends (I’m not sexist in this comment; they talk openly that they want to do it to say to their friends).

With actresses, however, things are different. First, because men are afraid of them. Yes, the number of attractive actresses that I know that are lonely and cannot find anyone is impressive. Second, this feeling of “Somebody is with me just because I’m famous” weighs much more with them.

I befriended a famous and beautiful actress during the shooting of a miniseries and a soap opera that we did together.
