And a whole lot of WLs

JFCLetMeIn

I’m still waiting on some apps I just keep thinking I would have had a better chance had I applied earlier.

JFCLetMeIn

18:18

But maybe that’s not true as a splitter

i applied in mid feb/ early march...but my appls just went complete now cz a document was missing in my case report...int gpa and 171 last...wondering if its late

JFCLetMeIn

18:19

It is late, yes.

@JFCLetMeIn: im in a similar boat to you as splitter/timing but sounded like you had much better LSAT, i would only R&R if you weren't happy about scholarship at those lower 14s and/or have goals bigger than standard bl

JFCLetMeIn

18:21

Hmm yeah

and of course you're comfortable waiting a year doing whatever you're doing rn

JFCLetMeIn

18:21

It does seem like schools are taking longer to decide on my app than other people’s that’s why I’m not sure if applying earlier would matter much

18:21

WAIT did bash hear back about UT

JFCLetMeIn

18:21

We don’t know yet!

@pug: does columbia rlly care about more then 3 lsat takes?

seems like splitters are waiting longer/have less predictable cycles, for me i just knew T6 wasn't likely to happen anyways and don't really mind missing out on the options those schools open up

but the money difference is obviously important and maybe waiting a year saves you over 50k in the long run

JFCLetMeIn

18:23

Yeah maybe I’m more focused on what hopes I had for ranking than actual outcomes…it’s just I want to do PI and the schools I got into are not the best for that

JFCLetMeIn

18:24

I should probably just be happy w what I got. I don’t really want to do this another year and applying earlier might not help me anyways

did Penn move up in anyone else's lawhub

JFCLetMeIn

18:26

Our GPAs are similar I just thought my LSAT would get better results than it did, guess it doesn’t make up for being below GPA much

QuixoticPowerfulAlligator

18:26

yes caterpillar

my top choice was berk to stay closer to home, unfortunate that they dont like splitters it seems. They're the best PI option prolly in lower t14 too

JFCLetMeIn

18:27

Yeah NYU is my top but I’ve been on hold and it’s not looking likely

JFCLetMeIn

18:27

I got berk WL

multiple T14 As is always a success though, maybe talk to them about the PI options they have and see if theres a path to what you want if you perform median-to above median as a law student

im not a PI guy so I haven't done much research beyond LST scanning

GL though, hope NYU comes through
