Rev. Bryan, 82, a native of Wilcox County, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at his resi- dence. He is the son of the late L. J. Bryan and the late Lula Belle Yawn.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sara Crenshaw Bryan. Rev. Bryan graduated from Miami Tech High School, attended University of Miami and was a graduate of Mercer University School of Theology. He did clinical work at Milled- geville State Hospital. He served in several offices with the Florida and Georgia Baptist Conventions as well with the Home Mission Board.

He actively assisted with five Billy Graham Crusades and in Chile. A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Rev. Bryan served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. During his ministerial career he served as pastor for Antioch Baptist Church in Abbeville, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cordele, Westside Baptist Church in Ashburn, Faith Bap- tist Church in Tallahassee and retired after 17 years from the Highlands Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla. After retire- ment, Rev.

Bryan served as interim pastor in several area churches. Rev. Known as to family and friends, Mrs. Hulett was born on February 3, 1924, in Williams Township, Chatham County, North Carolina and grew up in nearby Pittsboro, the youngest daughter of Min- nie Louise (Ellis) and William Garland Smith. She played high school basketball with the Pitts- boro High School Class of 1941 and she left North Carolina for 49 years of marriage to a hand- some World War II soldier she met while working for the American Red Cross, her beloved husband, Henry J. Hulett. Together they lived on several Army posts across the United States and Puerto Rico and raised two sons.

They set- tled in Macon in 1961 and she enjoyed a career of 19 years as a sales associate at Sears, Roe- buck and Company, joining the store when it was on Third Street in downtown Macon in 1970 and retiring from the Macon Mall store in 1989. Mrs. Hulett struck up friendships wherever she went and freely shared with all her infectious love of animals, her fond memo- ries of golf, her opinions regarding the fortunes of Atlanta Braves, and her undy- ing devotion to Tarheel basket- ball. Mrs. Hulett was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Hazel Poe.
