Mexican restaurant

Taqueria is a Mexican restaurant that is popular for its delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has a large open space covered in images of wrestlers and the Virgin Mary, and it always draws a big crowd in the evenings. Taqueria serves lunch, dinner, and drinks, and it takes reservations only on Friday night from 6pm.

One of my all time favorites that never disappoints. The place has unique atmosphere, everything is simple and the food is delicious while not expensive. Their homemade salsas adds so much to the experience, good beers, co*cktails, desserts and appetizers and great great tacos and burritos

Mati Ostrovsky — Google review

Tacos were not warm, they were overfilled in comparison to the size of the taco, chicken flavour was pretty bland and honestly only the green salsa bottle they bring to the table adds some spice to the meal that makes it worthwhile. They recommended I’d take the fried fish taco, I preferred trying a somewhat authentic dish and go for the chicken taco, would not recommend it.Service is great, chairs are rather uncomfortable too.

Lee Mcallister — Google review

The food is mediocre. I had the 3 taco mix, and the tortillas were cold. They probably microwave them because they weren't on the grill. The corn was pretty good. The service was ok and the atmosphere is good.

Roland — Google review

Best Mexican food in Israel. Very casual and authentic, everything they serve is good and reasonably priced (for Tel Aviv). Food is served quickly and they are very consistent. Great place for lunch, simple dinner or a snack.

Dan H. — Google review

Well, another place with good food that disappointed in the small details:We ordered a mix of 3 tacos and one burrito. I asked for a wrap made from lentils and the waiter told me it's extra 5 ILS and I confirmed. We also asked for a vegan salad to share after asking whether the corn had cheese on it.Order arrived. Super small dishes. No salad."You didn't order a salad, but we can make it for you now". Never mind, we'll pass.I'm opening the burrito, and the wrap is pale, as in white flour pale. On the check - no mention of the lentil wrap.I mean, come on. We ordered 3 items, the waiter had a tablet in his hands, and somehow managed to get 2 of them wrong? AhhhhhhAnd the cherry on top, a problem I wouldn't have mentioned if it weren't for the aforementioned shenanigans: water glasses of 150ml. I mean I looked around. They have bigger glasses. We asked for a bottle of tap water. Why would you bring 150ml of water to an adult male? This level of disservice is unreasonable.

Meni Shemesh — Google review

Nice Mexican in TLV. In a city where Mexican is not that easy to come by this is a great find. Prices are pretty reasonable (Shawarma prices basically). The salsas are tasty and the burritos are just the right size. Sitting is pretty basic and I wish they’d have an air conditioned space but I’ll definitely come again.

Omri R — Google review

Super delicious, fair prices! We really enjoyed it, had a full lunch, first, main , drink and dessert. Came up to less than 80 his person!

Hava Atias — Google review

A genuinely interesting Mexican food place!AppetizerTried the Havana corn on the cob which has a flood of seasonings, mayo?, cheese etc. The flavor profile was very interesting and it's a nice messy starter to lay your hands on. I would give it a 5/5 for flavor, portion size and visual appealMains:Had the fish tacos which were decent in profile but seemed to lack the real Mexican cuisine seasoning. The flavor took a hit because of that. I would rate it a 3/5Tried the Pollo Plancha (pictured) which was essentially a burrito on a plate. The beans were musher than usual, the rice slightly drier, the meat was cooked well but the seasoning was a bit off. Would rate the dish a strong 3.5/5DessertsChurro has been a go to favorite at all mexican restaurants where it has been available. The plate here comes with 3 pieces and 2 sauces - one chocolate and one dulce de Leche. The chocolate sauce was amazing and balanced well with the dulce De Leche. The churros were a bit doughy in consistency but were fresh. I would rate this a 4/5I also ordered a lemonade to go with this. My advice to other customers: save your ILS on the lemonade, it was a watery substitute to well water, which is free. Rating - 1/5My advise to the restaurant: focus on the flavor profiles. Don't be afraid to season it well or offer options to season. The red and green sauces you leave on the table is a great idea but the overall salt/spice/sour profile of those sauces are also off! You have great promise and very little competition I suspect, so you can become bigger than what you already are. Good luck!!

Ari Srinivasan — Google review

Mexican-American restaurant with decent food. Unfortunately there isn't an authentic Mexican restaurant in Tel Aviv. The chairs however are awful, uncomfortable and remind me of the chairs we had when I was in 1st grade. Please get new ones.

Yuval BarHai — Google review

This is barely Mexican food. Those looking for authentic Mexican, stay far away. It's pretty clear they use grocery store ingredients to save money, and avoid doing any of the work required to craft Mexican flavor. Incredibly bland. The wrong tortillas, the wrong tomatoes, none of the right spices, and the biggest sin of all is their advertisem*nt of "chips made from fried pieces of tortilla" ... and then they serve tortilla chips that are obviously store bought, and ridiculously stale - dusty and chewy (and overpriced). I'd expect this type of food from someone who's attempting Mexican as a first try and not a restaurant with puzzlingly high reviews that advertises itself as Mexican.

Nathan Siegel — Google review

Excellent and delicious Mexican food. We ordered two burritos and shared one quesadilla, both were very tasty. The prices are reasonable. Service was polite and quick. There might be a wait on busy hours - I think it's worth it.

Sunny Simantov — Google review

I was a bit disappointed, but overall, it was quite good. The service was excellent; the servers were fast and helpful. The burrito was really good, and so were the tacos. However, the nachos with melted cheese arrived a bit too late, so they became one big lump after just 2 minutes. That was a bit disappointing and made them annoying to eat.Overall, this is a pretty great Mexican place, especially considering the limited variety of Mexican food in Tel Aviv.

Mezcal is a Mexican restaurant that offers classic dishes and co*cktails. The restaurant is popular for its delicious food, which is similar to what you would find in a grandmother's kitchen. Mezcal regularly receives positive reviews from Mexico-based olim who have visited the restaurant.

What a beautiful, wonderful experience. Service was good but oh my, the food! By far the best Mexican I've ever eaten. I will be dreaming of those nachos for years to come. Wish I could give more stars! Ordered: Nachos for sharing, Mushroom Taco, Fish Taco, Flan and the tequila dark chocolate truffle desert. Yum!

Willemijn Denneman — Google review

Used to be better, this time it was just ok.Everything was bland or insanely spicy.I think they are becoming more traditional in flavor and it just doesn't work for Israeli audience.Traditional Mexican can and should be done much better. Especially the Esquite.Margaritas are still delicious :)Happy hour is good, 30% on everything I think until 7pm.We will probably not visit again anytime soon.

Liron Ham — Google review

The food was special and was very tasty for us. The service was lovely. The food came quickly. The fun is degraded when getting the bill... Too expensive! 38NIS for a beer is exaggerated! Removed one star for that, don't know if I could afford to adopt it on a regular basis with my friends.

Idan Versano — Google review

Great vibes, good service and tasty food. We had all of the starters and tacos which were excellent. One main dish was pretty bad and was replaced kindly.

Yonatan Brand — Google review

Went a 5 people party to celebrate a birthday. First time in a Mexican restaurant in Israel. Surprising variety of dishes and flavors. enjoyed every dish, each different and exciting.Flan was a wonderful surprise, and the Mexican sweet coffee a nice finishing touch.Portions seem relatively small, with a main of two tacos costing about 50 something shekels. but even with 3 starters, 6 mains, 2 desserts and 2 drinks the bill came out at a bit over 600. Everyone full and happy.

Gadi Feinstein — Google review

We had a really good time over there.I recommend ordering a table before you arrive so you won't wait on the line. The food is tasty, the pulled beef cassadila was on another level. The drinks are fresh and good as well. The atmosphere and service were also great.

Hisham Sabbah — Google review

I was pretty excited to find Mexican food but it was just okay.Chips were stale, guacamole okay and salsa nothing special.I asked for a virgin margarita and they didn’t want to make me one (well, server didn’t ask said I could have a lemonade). Which made me think the mix is premade.Additional salsa was really nice for spicy which was amazing. Their carnitas tacos were good, a little greasy.Has a nice outdoor section.

David Hall — Google review

Mezcal is a vibrant bar with very good south American dishes. Apart from the hostess that thought it was OK to sit us at a table for two near the bathroom (we were three and reserved a table), service was impeccable. We got an alternative place at the bar, and the two bartenders gave us very good recommendations and great Margaritas 😊. None of that over friendly Israeli service, just your basic efficient and kind one (rareity in cool Israeli places). As for the dishes, don't miss the ceviche mercado and Quesadilla Birra, and the fish tacos. Flavors are authentic and fresh.Well worth the visit!

Shirley Segal — Google review

Delicious Mexican food! The best enchiladas I had in years! But too pricey IMO, more than 50 ILS for 2 veggie tacos! 😮🌮

Chen K — Google review

Love this Mexican gem at the heart of Tel Aviv.Ambiance was incredible, service was amazing and the food was unique.Love it!!

Niv Benshi — Google review

Great co*cktails and food! Would definitely recommend the ceviche, nachos and frozen margaritas (spicy option if that's your vibe!). I didn't order the tacos, but most of my family did, and the only down side was that they were too soft. But they sorted that out for us!

Edit: Still the best, and better every time.Best Mexican food I've had in Israel. I'm Mexican, so that's not an idle compliment3 years later, it's still amazing

co*cktail bar

This co*cktail bar has a Mexican twist, and the food is well prepared. The service is friendly, and the drinks are great. Make sure to book your table in advance as this is a small but trendy place.

Excellent co*cktails, good service and vibes. Recommend to order the Spicy India (not on the menu), sit by the bar and enjoy the happy hour!

Paula Goldberg — Google review

LaOtra is a really good co*cktail bar with great Mexican food. The atmosphere is special, had a great experience there many times.

david aharon — Google review

A little expensive (im from Chile) , but they had very good co*cktails, the waiters were very nice and acomodating, im a celiac and they answered my questions and guided me through the menu. The place looks good decoration wise. To enjoy it the most go on happy hour time (18.00 to 20.00). Also very good music (latin music half the time).

Denisse Yojay — Google review

Wonderful little bar with great food, interesting co*cktails and great atmposphere. The dishes were punchy and tasty. Loved them.Recommended for a getaway.

Adi Levinshtein — Google review

Great co*cktails bar with a Mexican twist. The food is well prepared, the service is friendly, the drinks are great. Must book your table in advance, as this is a super small but trendy place.

Yossi Twizer — Google review

The bar itself was nice and cozy, the drinks were just ok and considering the price I really expected more. The burnt marshmallow shown below was stale, they probably had it in storage for days.I would expect a co*cktail bar that’s highly reviewed such as this not to serve stale food in co*cktails, even if it’s for decoration. The food was overpriced, a small plate of nachos for 62₪?There was barely a quarter bag of nachos there, how can they justify this price? Also, it was cold. The service was even worse, the air conditioning dripped all over us and notifying the waitress she just responded that “that’s what the air condition does, just move”We asked to move places and she refused.I don’t see myself returning here, disappointing.

Barak Freiman — Google review

The drinks were good, and the food was Mexican and tasty we recommend on the ceviche the service wasn’t good we waited a long time for the food and to order

Avital Abramov — Google review

Some of the best drinks I've ever had were served here - and I am a professional bartender! I have to admit I like the older co*cktail menus better, so do ask for off the menu stuff like Dr.Bizzaro.The food here is amazing, the drinks are superb, the place looks absolutely stunning, and the service is unmatched.

Gal Aizic — Google review

We were a group of friends who visited specifically for happy hour price food. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive once inside the restaurant. It's fairly small and without natural daylight but a cool decor and ambience (seems like a good date place). We came to take advantage if the happy hour until 20:00 which is a nice novelty and our group often goes to places with a happy hour so are used to prices/portions accordingly. The food was tasty with a pretty unique taste of dishes (not personally to my taste), but we found the portions small for the price - it's recommended with a lot of Mexican dishes to get a number of dishes and maybe share. We found the equivalent of a total of one to three of the smaller dishes per person wasn't filling for us, yet still pretty pricey even after happy hour prices applied. We all left not feeling full and decided dessert elsewhere would likely be better value for money in portion size compared to price.I'd recommend trying this place out if money is no issue so you can sample as much of the menu as possible. 2 of the smaller dishes at a non-happy hour price is around 80-90 shekels. Happy hour food was 20% off and I think the alcohol too (says on their menu)

Nat Wise — Google review

We had a few co*cktails and some food and everything was tastyI really liked the fish tacoI would recommend to make a reservation before going. You can check their happy hour with good price for their co*cktailsIn my opinion the food was expensive for the size of the dishes

Cindy Mysler — Google review

Sensational! Incredible craft co*cktails. We had the best time at La Otra! The service was exceptional; the bartender was so attentive, professional, creative, and friendly (without being condescending, which is often the case in those craft co*cktail bars). We explained what we like and wish for, and we received the most beautiful, tasty, and creative drinks. The food is also superb. Highly recommended to go at happy Hour (18:00-20:00) when all the co*cktails are %50 off. Make sure to make a reservation!

maya lahyani — Google review

Great co*cktailsGreat serviceOrdered in advance for 4 and set for 2 hours with good energies good food and good atmosphere.Bartenders are highly recommended they give so much options and there is happy hour everyday! Including friday which is rare. Food was delicious dont take only one dish

Galit S.A — Google review

Great service and vibe. We went for happy hour and got great value on our co*cktails too. Food is the best “bar food” I’ve had lately. Super high quality. Good music but not too loud so you can still have a conversation.

Mexican restaurant

Mexicana is a popular choice among locals in Tel Aviv, with two restaurant locations and two venues in indoor markets. The menu offers U.S.-inspired Mexican cuisine, including burritos, fresh sides, and bottomless margaritas during Happy Hour. Whether you opt for a specialized burrito bowl or share an assortment of sides with friends, Mexicana aims to leave you feeling satisfied with a hint of spice.

Delicious! We arrived at Friday 4:30 pm, the place was dead. We ordered out meal through the machine and in 5 minutes we were savouring these delicious dishes! The service was nice and fast, and the food? Well, it's Mexicana!

Pub

Bar

Biggy Z is a popular bar in Tel Aviv that offers a diverse range of Central and South American cuisine. Located in the vibrant Carmel Market area, this pub serves delicious Venezuelan Arepas and hosts fun taco Tuesdays with bottomless margaritas. It's known for its authentic atmosphere that transports you straight to Latin America, making you forget you're in the Middle East.

Amazing bar, great drinks, and always a great time. The manager Jacob is incredible, attentive, and fun. I’ve been coming here since I moved to israel and have no complaints! The bracelet deal is unbeatable. A must go Tel Aviv bar!

Simone Saidmehr — Google review

Worst bar i have ever been in my life, we ordered 3 beers and 3 co*cktails, 2 beers had some kind of black pieces in them, 1 of the beers had also a hair in it and the 3 co*cktails were so bad no one could drink them, we asked for the co*cktails to be removed from the bill since we didn’t drink them and the waiter replied after talking with the manager “i am new here and the boss said to only remove one co*cktail”, this was clearly not true since they all knew each other very well it seemed, i went to pay inside and everyone from the staff was ignoring me and talking with each other, laughing. Also they had changed the prices of the drinks to make up to the 1 drink the refunded, so at the end we paid the same amount of money. I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone, even if this is the last bar in Tel Aviv.

Filotheos Sotiriou — Google review

Wonderful bar with great live music. The manager, Jacob, is an absolute charm. Great value for the drinks and a gorgeous co*cktail!

Eva Sperling — Google review

Fun & relaxed eatery near the beach. Very nice owner & staff. They have a "bracelet" system for drinks; you pay one price (depends on the type of drinks you want) and you can order as many as you like from that price category or below! Way to have a great night out right!?Only drawback is the very relaxed staff is not very reactive (seating new guests) so don't hesitate to go inside and ask for a table!

Nicolas Whoever — Google review

Best bar in Tel Aviv. Great prices for all you can drink, and good bar food. Place is full from Thursday - Saturday so best to get a reservation. Sundays - tuesdays they have live music most days and Wednesday is open mic night with a wonderful group of artists.

Jacob Grinberg — Google review

Amazing place to get a ton of drinks for a good price. The owners are hilarious guys, and the crowd is always such a fun time. This was my go to bar when I was in tel Aviv.

Tyler TM — Google review

This place was amazing. Eran was so friendly and kind. I met really nice people and the open mic was a real hit. Best spot in Tel Aviv.

Tzippora Miller — Google review

We were like 10 peopleFirst of all the drinks are watered downService is very bad, I heard stuff talking about us that we drink too muchNot recommendUpdate: look closely how the owner answers only the good reviews and that all 5-star reviews are written on the same day(nothing strange for sure…)

Nazar Hadomskyi — Google review

Good Vibes, Great serviceThis pub has some great deals for free re-fill until you stop feel like drinking. 😅- Wines & light alcoholic drinks- co*cktails & Champagne- Base LiquorsAnd etc..It's great located in Bugrashov street by the sea.. you Better Try it out when in Tel Aviv 😃

Lior Rosenberg — Google review

Friendly warming nice and fun. Gay friendly tourists friendly. Awesome owner amazing staff.

Amiel Allia — Google review

Not an unlimited deal anymore, even though they make you pay the same as before. Quite weird as you still pay the same. This is mentioned nowhere on their Owner told us the maximum was 7, otherwise he would not make enough money. I don't see why you should go to a bracelet bar if there is a limit nowadays. You could just go to any regular bar. Pizza was a bit burned but quite ok. Toilet was broken and dirty.

Le Mala is a vibrant Tex-Mex eatery and bar in Tel Aviv, offering a lively atmosphere and delicious Mexican cuisine. The restaurant stands out for its flavorful dishes such as tacos, tamales, chili con carne, and shrimp polenta. Guests can also enjoy margaritas and other co*cktails made with tequila or Mezcal. While the location may seem unassuming, the casual vibe inside creates a pleasant dining experience.

Very pleasant and lively "Tel Aviv style" restaurant and bar.Meals are not really big but tasty.Polenta del mar is amazing.Tacos con carne are very tasty.Shrimps chelkiles and saviche are very interesting.Buffalo wings...it's not a place for wings🙂The only disappointment was choros: falling apart, not crispy at all, and a choice of sour cream with Dulce de Leche is very questionable in my opinion.Still, all over, I rated it 5 stars!

ilya zozin — Google review

Great place for casual Mexican food and drinks. Nothing fancy but everything was great and the food and drinks were perfect.Somewhat difficult to find the place and relatively to Tel Aviv the area has parking which is rare

Ori Dotan — Google review

Probably the best Mexican in Israel. Excellent tacos, great tuna fish, exciting tamales. The mexico salad is wonderful. And don't be shy - grab a co*cktail (or two) from tequila or Mezcal. Don't forget to finish with churros (accompanied by great dulce de lece abd cream)

Gil Eilam — Google review

Nice place for a Mexican cuisine- probably, the closest one for an authentic Latin American experience here in Israel. The building itself is an art-cluster, with few galleries and a lot of street art. Tacos are must in this restaurant, and also I loved seafood polenta. The service is great, pretty fast

Nina Verzhbolovich — Google review

You can stop searching for good Mexican food in TLV, by far the best Mexican around.. great nachos… amazing tacos ( I took the beef 😋) and the Churros were incredible! The only cons is that the place is far from main areas and the restaurant looks simple:)

Jacob aharon — Google review

What a great experience. All dishes were delicious, but the Chorros and Buffalo wings were just perfect. The chilled atmosphere and generally good service only complemented. Highly recommended!

Matan Naveh — Google review

The place is nice, by no means I can call this place a Mexican restaurant, it is simply a restaurant that offers Mexican dishes. That said, food is good. Would not recommend it as a Mexican experience but it is a nice place to enjoy a good meal.

OrLi H — Google review

Had a great time here. Most Mexican places in Tel Aviv are pretty basic and uninspired, but this is the one standing out and doing better than the norm. The Shrimp Polenta stood out as a perfectly seasoned and hearty dish. The churros went above and beyond my expectations, they were perfectly crispy on the outside and oh-so-creamy inside.Only caveat about this place is its location, an old seemingly abandoned building in a street that might as well be a parking lot. The vibe inside is very casual.

To be honest it’s a little hard to review this spot since we only had a drink and one dish. The octopus was great and the margarita was decent, I did get the margarita in under a minute which was impressive. This might be a great spot but when we were here the service wasn’t great, and the hostess had an attitude. We arrived around 6pm and didn’t have a reservation (after confirming that at that time it’s not needed) and the hostess was reluctant to give us a table, even though the place was completely empty. They said the place was fully booked for 7pm but when we left around 7:15 the place had several empty tables.Overall might be a good spot but we didn’t have a great experience.

The food was perfect, we ordered the meat, chicken and mushroom tacos - each were amazing, tamales with chili con carne was also great! However - the churros were the best I’ve had in my life actually. This places gets 5 stars from me -though the location is terrible and in the middle of no where :)

Excellent experience! Here is what we ordered:Starter: Big bowl of nachos with extra cheese - deliciously fresh.Intermediate: Meat tamales - very interesting Mexican dish we’ve never tried before.Main: Chili con carne - tasty with good combination of flavors.Dessert: The traditional churro, the twist was the special sauce.Drinks: margarita and beerThe place is not cheap but the quality of the food is high, and the atmosphere is great! We sat at the bar and came on Friday night, so the ambiance was particularly magical.Enjoy the photos ;)

Great food, big portions, delicious co*cktails, latin party atmosphere, nice DJ, and above all - the service. Waiters pay attention to details, advise you according to your taste, however are not clingy at all, what I appreciate the most. There are fewer restaurants in Israel where no one will bother you every 2 mins asking, "Is everything okay?" "Does it taste good?" "Is everything tasty?" While watching one eating and bothering them.Highly recommended

Best Mexican food in Israel. We’ve been searching for a while, but finally a place with excellent service, fantastic food and good vibes.Located in an artsy-industrial building, it’s a bit of a surprise when you walk in - but the pleasant kind. The nachos are to die for.

Viva Mexico is a small and authentic Mexican restaurant located in the heart of the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv, Israel. The warm atmosphere and great service make it a standout choice for Mexican cuisine. The chef's entertaining presence adds to the experience, making it more than just a meal. With its street food vibe and original Mexican dishes, Viva Mexico offers a delicious combination of flavors and passion that keeps customers coming back for more.

Take the tacos! The tortillas were amazing and so was the chicken filling. We also had good fresh mohitos. 🌮But the most amazing part of this experience was the chef himself. Pleasant to talk with and a good entertainer.

I love Mexican food so much, so it was a real shame that I didn't like the place. The atmosphere is great and filled with little details, but there is no pork, no Al pastor. The dishes are not too bold in their flavors. Just a big feeling of Meh.Might be good for those who are not in love with the Mexican cuisine, or maybe I fell on a bad day for them. Not sure yet

Best Mexican food I had in Tel Aviv in a long time!! Real. Authentic and delicious! The service is super friendly and made our experience even better. TACOS ARE AMAZING 🌮

Authentic tacos and Michelada. As a Houstonian, I definitely know good tacos. Excellent service. Will definitely be going again when in Tel Aviv. A lil pricey, but comparable to Israel prices.

Nice small place in the middle of the market with authentic Mexican vibes. Food tastes good, but not amazing, and is in the same price bracket as the better Mexican restaurants in the city.

Lovely and random, which means the perfect combination! Flavor, passion, vibe….all for the delicious combo of street style Mexican food!

Best Mexican food in Israel. Best margaritas! Not a lot of seating but it’s worth the wait! Make sure you guard your bottle of green sauce while you’re eating!

Finally the collective Anglo search for authentic Mexican food in Tel Aviv has come to an end. This place is legit. I had the barbacoa and it was delicious. Definitely worth the trip!

Best tacos in Tel Aviv-Yafo. I was visiting Isreal recently and had a big craving for my favorite food Tacos!! Found this place and man it didn't disappoint. Tacos were fresh, tortillas hand made, Berria slowly cooked and I was very impressed how the mushroom taco tasted like real meat. Owner was very cool and had a great conversation.. keep up the great work!!

Kevin Hernandez — Google review

The chille relleno with a corn tortilla is amazing. Also, great vegan options. My friends who ordered the beef said it was very good. Fabulous service—sweet and charming taco makers in a cool area with good vibes of Tel Aviv.

Zohar Friedman — Google review

This is the best hole-in-the-wall taco place you will find in Tel Aviv. The people who own/run it are putting in genuine love into each dish they serve. Their menu is selective, but it's because they are putting their all into each dish. If you can get a seat, I guarantee you will not be disappointed

Eli T — Google review

Im a Hispanic from Los Angeles (should know a thing or 2 about Mexican and street tacos) and cannot emphasize enough how authentic and truly amazing this place is, felt like something I’d get in DTLA after a Dodger game. From the salsa, to the margaritas, to the tacos, this place has got it down. Everything is freshly made everyday and they even make their tortillas from scratch. You can taste the love and attention to detail in every bite. The owners are very welcoming and love what they do. This is the only place that I recommend as a MUST go to in Tel Aviv whether it be for a quick bite or chill evening with drinks and friends!

Andrew Klein — Google review

This place is a real find. The tacos are made with a lot of care and attention - they make the tortillas themselves as well. The tastes and texture are a joy. To add to that, they are friendly and genuine people. I shall definitely be going back next time I need the market.

Jon — Google review

Absolutely recommendable! All the tacos were super tasty and freshly prepared, the tortillas very good. The Spicy Mezcal Margarita like in Mexico. It was great fun to be there!

Really cute and authentic place. It felt like the most genuine Mexican place I've been to in Israel. Local restaurant/ street food vibes. Not high end, but the food is tasty, fresh and great value. Staff were also friendly and quick service. Highly recommend.

As a Mexican, I can tell that this is one of the fewest authentic Mexican restaurants in Israel. The food is well served, and the prices are fare for what you get.The green enchiladas were really good!

Shelly Posternak — Google review

Great cantina place! Chill atmosphere, yummy tacos. We started with nachos which were okay (I expected melted cheese), mixed tacos and a burrito. Everyone was nice and the food was great.

Fayanne Betan — Google review

Amazing place with very warm and cozy atmosphere, extremely welcoming stuff and food! Food is absolutely amazing! Authentic Mexican dishes, everything I ate was so tasty, couldn’t stope eating more and more. And prices a great too. Highly recomend!

Thursday, December 1, 2022, 15:00I've been waiting long for this visit. The place has an atmoshpere that doesn't correlate with thw whole experience. At first it felt like we entered a home-cooking restaurant. The vast variety of mexican themed artifacts felt like the design is not their first concern. The menus were hand-printed and plastic laminated, with stickers displaying the prices. And that's practically sums up the less positive aspects. The food was utterly amazing. We had a taco salad for starter, and a 3 taco mix of chicken, beef and Barbacoa.Everything was delicious, colorful and esthetic. The service was kind and reflected a deep understanding in mexican cousine. The prices were extremely comfortable and fair.Overall, a great experience. I had authentic Mexican food, but nowhere in Israel you'll find authentic Mexican food that actually matches the source. The gained a new regular customer, fair and square.Highly recommended!

Very authentic Mexican food. The best in Tel Aviv. Good prices also.

The place is great, Authentic mexican restaurant, the enchiladas and the flan were amazing! The only thing is that it's really expensive, even more thinking that the mexican food is really cheap to make.

A small family-owned restaurant off the beaten track. Great decor and friendly staff. I like the nachos and margarita. The tacos were a bit dry, but it might be a matter of taste.

Best Mexican food in israel! We were actually going to go to another restaurant in the area 😂 but then the smell of the place was so amazing! We asked the seller what should we take?He offered to take mix tacos. It was just perfect! We recently returned from Mexico and it was just as amazing as there and even more so! Worth every shekel

Being from California and living in Tel Aviv, I always missed good affordable Mexican food. Finally Carnal opened up! This is such a great local spot, although honestly I’d come in here from other parts of Tel Aviv too.The food is great, the people here are wonderful, and the vibe is nice, and the prices are (surprisingly enough) very reasonable.Food is super high-quality, and they have burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, burrito bowls, nachos, etc.The pulled beef burrito is absolutely amazing. Come by and enjoy great food in one of the best spots in Florentin.

Really tasty taco, finally a decent Mexican food in town!

Elisabeth Dubrovsky — Google review

The food is so yummy. We came for my birthday and basically ordered the entire menu: burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. We each had a frozen margarita as well, and it was only 30 shekels! Also the churros were soooo good. The owner Yehia was so sweet and made sure that all the dishes accommodated my allergies. Truly the best Mexican food that I've had in Tel Aviv, and also way more affordable than the other options in town. Highly recommend!!!
