Chabert currently has multiple projects in the works at Hallmark, which seemingly confirms her future at the network. Later this year, she will reunite with Brennan Elliott for the movie Him & Hers. The romance is set to premiere during the network’s annualFall into Love programming event, and it will mark Chabert and Elliott’s 10th movie together.

The Wedding Veil star will also appear alongside Kristoffer Polaha in The Christmas Quest, which will air as part of Hallmark’s infamous Countdown to Christmas lineup. To top it off, Chabert has a new show coming out with the network, also set to air in late 2024. The series, titled Celebrations with Lacey Chabert, is Hallmark’s first-ever unscripted program, and it will follow Chabert as she throws one-of-a-kind celebrations for kids, families and adults who are making a positive impact in their communities.

“As a lifelong DIY enthusiast, I fell in love with party planning while coming up with creative ways to bring my daughter’s birthday parties to life,” Chabert said in a statement about the project. “I am so excited to lend my love of crafts to create joyous moments for deserving people. This is going to be an epic party as we celebrate real-life heroes, complete with ups and downs that only unscripted television can capture.”

Although Chabert’s year is jam-packed with Hallmark projects, the actress is also taking on a role for Netflix. In May 2024, our sister site Deadlinereported that Chabert was tapped to star in a new Christmas film for the streaming giant titledHot Frosty. She’ll be starring alongsideSchitt’s Creekalum Dustin Milligan,Days of our Livesvet Chrishell Stause,The Office‘s Craig Robinson,Brooklyn 99‘sJoe Lo Truglio,Mike & Mollystar Katy Mixon andNCISalum Lauren Holly.

It’s unclear what role Chabert will be playing, but sources told the outlet that securing her involvement was a major feat for Netflix, given her success in the holiday movie space. Chabert has not indicated a permanent move to Netflix after 2024, but the actress is becoming increasingly sought after, which means Hallmark might struggle to keep her.

Nevertheless, Chabert’s commitment to Hallmark has remained steadfast for nearly two decades, and that likely won’t change. “I’m able to be more of who I am here than possibly anywhere else I’ve worked,” she toldVultureduring a December 2022 interview. “I started in the theater. I didLes Misérableson Broadway, commercials,All My Children. I love working. I enjoy playing different types of characters, don’t get me wrong. Just look atMean Girls.Gretchen …But with Hallmark, I play characters that are more like who I am in real life than anywhere else. My values are my faith and my family, and I get to portray that.”
