It was very short. 10min at best, I could have done a on line visit in stead of driving a 1 hr and a 1/2. Waste of time.

I think he was as excited about my progress surgery as I was. It is such a gift to be able to walk again. It's not a miracle, but it certainly feels like one.

Dr Waddell is great ,saw for 3 month follow up after craniotomy and TBI. It's a 170 mile round trip for MD to say you're looking good. You're lucky to be alive and doing as well as you are.

The doc didn't care what I was saying. Spent less than 10 minutes in the appointment and the only thing he had to say, was a third back surgery means fusion and he will not do that on someone on my age and he didn't know why I was seeing him because it is extremely premature. After he tried to get me to leave, I finally just asked if there is anything I can do to help alleviate pain, physical therapy or injections or muscle relaxers and all he had to say was that something you will have to check with your family doctor about. By far the worst experience I've ever had with any doctor.

I'd have liked to know he couldn't do Sx on me before i traveled 3 hours EACH WAY, maybe a consult via telephone i appreciate Waddell telling me if I get another MRI with the artifact he would revisit me case as well as pass it in to the other surgeons. He also was helpful with telling me about PT and meds for secondary conditions that I knew i had but didn't know PT and meds were even an option. I have already gotten orders for a new MRI and a referral for PT. I hope to see Waddell again but next time to schedule me for Sx so I can start my healing.

What I would like to add is the surgery went fine but however, I feel as if there is a lot of miscommunication. There wasn't help and assistance when I needed it and also there was a lot of just putting me off to the next department and not giving me a right answer or direction I feel at Gunderson I had a lot of ups and downs. I'm glad that the surgery part went fine but even as I write this and return this, I still have a form that needs to be fill out and no one is responding to me and I needed to return back to work , I feel as if people at Gunderson could be a little more professional little more understanding and sympathetic I could go on

I was very unhappy with this visit; the doctor appeared to clarify the x-ray he was showing me; however. he did not identify any ways to address the results caused by my multi-factorial problem

This diagnosis and next steps were a surprise to me and providers so I'm still processing the next CT scan and what the results will mean. I really liked the surgeon and communicating next steps with him although I need a CT scan before we know fully.

The provider was vague on the clinical notes, not detailed on the visit. Had an awkward stare multiple times after each question, made me feel like he didn't trust me. I was very uncomfortable and disappointed on how providers use PT as a cruch to by time.

I realize this wasn't your fault, but they did not have the information about the workman's comp claim and that made us stand and wait, good thing we came early. That was frustratin, but it is workman's comp and I don't know who was supposed to have transferred all the information to you, but your front desk did not have it or registration did not have it and what was good was the doctor. He was smart, thorough, sure of himself, great, answered things correctly, like we trust him, would feel good in his care.

I was told my appointment was at 9:30 when actually it was at 10. I wasn't called back until 10:10 which was a fine amount of time to wait had I arrived at 10!! I had completed the online questionnaire so I should have arrived at 9:55. It was frustrating b/c I based another appointment on the 9:30 time, not 10:00. I barely made it to that next appointment.
